Hi! I’m Lauren Chang!
A senior ready to grow, gain experience, and thrive in college.

I am a student at William P. Clements High School, committed to staying grounded and disciplined through my schoolwork and extracurriculars. I’m excited to experience college and make a positive impact on the communities I join and the work that I do.

My Aspirations & Experience

With the rapid growth of AI, I’ve begun paying closer attention to how technology reshapes economies. As automation changes the work people do, it affects wages, job stability, and how people perceive the value of work.
To address these changes, I’m intrigued by questions such as whether Universal Basic Income could help societies adapt, balancing economic security with incentives to work.
I’m interested in economics because it helps me understand these shifts, especially as AI reshapes the relationship between labor, capital, and opportunity in everyday life.
